Prepare to see what is allegedly the “actual footage” of the supernatural events leading up to the 2008 murder of Samantha Finley. Released against the wishes of the authorities, this D.V.D. proves that nothing human caused Samantha’s death.
When I first heard of this one when it came out I figured it was just going to be another Paranormal Activity rip-off and not worth my time. I was surprised though it was much better then I was expecting it to be.
The movie starts off with Thomas Finley the son of the family calling 911 in a frantic terror saying over and over that his family is dead, that “It” killed his Mom and Sister.
Then we fade into the family in their kitchen discussing recording everything that’s going on. We found out it was a doctor that advised them to record things that are going on. We learn as the movie goes on that the father has died, and the mom has thought she was talking to his spirit but everyone slowly realizes it probably is not there father.
Trying to not give out any spoilers but it’s kind of hard when the movie starts out with telling you a couple of the main characters have been killed. The question is though, did a spirit kill them? or maybe it was Thomas Finley who is accused of raping and killing his sister.
This was the first time I heard of the main actress in the film Erin Marie Hogan, and I must say she is very down to earth and a nice person. You can check her out on her YouTube Channel or Twitter.
