Zach sets out into the wildness of the Georgia Shoals to prove his survival skills for 60 days. Before too long, finding clean water and sufficient scavenged food are the least of his worries when disturbing noises and events disturb his lonely challenge.
This movie was actually pretty entertaining for what it was. It kind of reminded me of the show Naked & Afraid (minus the naked) meets the Blair Witch Project. The movie is about Zach who decides to try and survive in the wilderness for 60 days on his own. Everything is going well for himself at first and days into he is either slowly losing his mind or he is being haunted by whatever lives in the Shoals of Georgia. Will Zach make it the 60 days? Will he tap out? Or worse?
If you have Amazon Prime you should really check this flick out.

I was so excited when I heard there was a fourth Hatchet movie but I will say after watching Hatchet 4/Victor Crowley yesterday I was actually a little disappointed. I loved the first three Hatchet movies especially after they brought on Danielle Harris to take up the role of Marybeth. I think the only bright spot or amusing thing of the 4th one was the fact they brought back Parry Shen once again. It’s great he’s played a different character in all of the movies. From what I understand though in the 4th one he played the same character as he did in the 3rd film but I could have sworn that character died. I may be wrong it has been a minute since I watched that one.
All in all, it was still somewhat enjoyable I guess, but it does not compare to the first three at all. The plot was just slightly corny. I did, however, enjoy the surprise appearance at the end of the movie.

When I first saw this on Amazon Prime I thought to myself, not another Amityville movie. Just what the world needs but then I saw it was directed by Henrique Couto and I saw two other movies made by him earlier in the week (Alone in the Ghost House & Devil’s Trail) and I enjoyed them. So I figured what will it hurt to watch one more pointless Amityville movie. Plus the fact it was a found footage movie that really helped me decide on watching it.
And I must say I wasn’t disappointed in the movie. So even if you are tired of Amityville movies give this one a try, you’ll enjoy it.
