A fledging sorority moves into a dilapidated house only to find something evil is lurking in the shadows. Is it an elaborate hazing ritual? Or is something sinister – something paranormal – behind the mental and physical assault?
If you ask me this is another entertaining flick from the mind of Henrique Couto. I’m glad I came across his films on Amazon, I would actually pay to watch them and the fact they are free with your Prime membership makes them even better. In the last couple of weeks, I’ve watched Alone in the Ghost House, Devil’s Trail, Amityville: No Escape, Calamity Jane and now Haunted House on Sorority Row. It’s great he uses a lot of the same actors for his films especially since I think they are decent actors. He also uses the same house in a handful of his flicks which I think is neat.
This movie is about a group of girls that purchase this house for there sorority at a bargain price because a tragic event happened there in the past. After they move in all kinds of bad thing start to happen. Will they figure out the mystery of the house and survive until morning or will the house add a few more victims to the list?
If you have Amazon Prime you really got to give this movie a try along with the other movies I mentioned above. You can’t go wrong with free plus it’s always good to help support an independent film maker.
A minor celebrity and her husband head out on the road to investigate the most haunted house in America for their very own reality show, but upon arriving at the Devil’s Commune things become worse than they could have ever imagined. They wanted fame, they found HELL.

This movie was actually rather entertaining, it didn’t have a lot in the way of jump scares and other creepy moments but as far as a b-rated found footage movie it was pretty good. Also knowing the movie was shot in three days and a majority of the dialogue was improvised I was impressed. The movie did seem a lot different than I thought it would be from watching the trailer but that’s ok it was still good just not what I was expecting. The only reason I gave it four out of five cause I didn’t really care for the ending even though I was surprised by it. I almost came close to renting this on Google Play but I saw it on Amazon and figured for free I have to watch it but I still would have been pleased if I paid to see it.
After experiencing what they think are a series of “break-ins”, a family sets up security cameras around their home, only to realize that the events unfolding before them are more sinister than they seem.

Mini Movie Review:
Not sure what is my favorite out of the Paranormal Activity movies, it would have to be a toss-up between this one and part 4 probably. Even though I really enjoyed part 5 also. If I had to rate them I guess I would go 4, 2, 5, 1, 6 & 3.
This movie really isn’t a sequel it’s more of a prequel. It’s what happens before the start of part 1. It shows how the ghost/demon ended up with Micah and Katie. Like I said this movie is very enjoyable and you don’t need to have seen part 1 to watch this one. This is a perfect Halloween movie if slasher flicks aren’t your thing and your more into supernatural movies.
