Mini Movie Review:

This is one movie I actually have nothing bad to say about. It’s such a throwback to 80’s slasher films and it has an original story idea which in the past 20 years there doesn’t seem to be much originality going on.

The story starts off with two swampers, alligator hunting in a forbidden swamp. As they pull over so one of them could relieve themselves they run into a creature in the swamp that puts an end to them. The story then picks up with the main character Ben in the middle of Mardi Gras with his friends appearing to not have a very good time. Ben has decided to go to Mardi Gras to try and get over a recent breakup. He and his friend Marcus decide to leave the rest of them in search of a Haunted Swamp Tour. They finally find the place having the swamp tours and they load the bus, Ben sits next to a girl that seems really out of it and deep in thought. Not till later he finds out she is the daughter/sister of the two men that were killed in the beginning of them movie.

The swamp boat ends up crashing and everyone has to escape to shore and only then does the girl sitting next to Ben tell every one of the legend that is Victor Crowley and she is only on the tour to try and find her daddy and brother. Is the legend of Victor Crowley real? Will everyone make it out of the swamp? If your a fan of slasher flicks you must watch this one. And the best part of this movie? Victory Crowley is played by none other then Kane Hodder of Friday the 13th fame.

Movie Rating: 5 out of 5
