This is a list of zombie films. Zombies are creatures usually portrayed as either a reanimated corpse or a mindless human being. While zombie films generally fall into the horror genre, some cross over into other genres, such as comedy, science fiction, thriller, or romance, and animated films. There have even been developments in zombie-specific sub-genres, such as the “zombie comedy” or the “zombie apocalypse”. This list does not include ghosts, mummies, or vampires.
