Mini Review:

A lot of times you watch a movie when you are younger then you watch it again as a grown-up and you wonder why you even liked it, but with Fortress I will say this movie has stood up to the test of time. I loved it as a kid and still enjoyed it as a grown-up. I would say it probably ranks in my top 5 if not top 3 movies of all time. Not really sure why it just does. I remember as a kid watching it a few times a month cause I believe HBO aired it often. And I would make it a point to watch it every time it was on.

It’s about a school teacher in Australia in a very small town that has a variety of school-aged kids in the same little school house. One day a bunch of armed men come and take them hostage, and the rest of the movies is them trying to get away and then finally deciding to take a stand and fight back.

It’s a hard movie to come by, it’s not on any of the streaming services or VOD but if you happen to come across, watch it. If you look on YouTube you may also be able to find it but the quality would not do it justice.
