Movie Review (not really):
This isn’t my half-assed attempt at a review for Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning, it’s more of a “Why does everyone hate this movie?”.
I just honestly really don’t get it. Besides part VI this one is probably my favorite out of the bunch. Not sure if it’s the storyline or the cast and characters. Really doesn’t bother me that Jason wasn’t actually in the film or not. And yes it was easy to figure out it was an imposter, but that really doesn’t matter much. Or at least to me it didn’t. So I think if people could separate the fact it’s not Jason in a Friday the 13th movie, maybe they would appreciate it a little more.
And seriously, is it really worse than Jason Goes to Hell? If any of the movies should be bitched about, it’s defiantly that one. So for all you Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning haters, give it another try and get over the fact it’s not Jason Voorhees doing the killing.
