Synopsis:
Eight college students traveling to Florida for Spring Break stumble into a remote town in Georgia where they are set upon by the residents who are out to avenge their deaths by Union troops over 100 years earlier during the Civil War.

Movie Review:
I first watched 2001 Maniacs about ten years ago and recently decided to rewatch it on Hulu. I still remember that first time vividly — my wife and I were watching when we suddenly looked at each other and said, “Doesn’t this place look familiar?” That’s when it hit us — the movie was filmed at Historic Westville, a spot we’ve visited many times! That little connection made the movie even more enjoyable for us. But honestly, it’s a great watch on its own — the perfect blend of cheesy, over-the-top, B-rated horror fun. I’d definitely say this one is worth checking out.
