Review: Hooked Up

READING THIS REVIEW MAY SPOIL THE MOVIE FOR YOU – YOU’VE BEEN WARNED

Hooked Up was actually entertaining, but at the same time it was also slightly confusing. I will say though the main character Peter was kind of on the annoying side plus a little unstable. Diffently not someone you would want to ever bring on vacation with you.

After watching this and also the Hostel movies, makes me never want to go over seas on vacation I can tell you that. Think I will stick with locations stateside.

I do believe this was also one of the first horror movies, or movies filmed entirely with an iPhone. Phone worked pretty well I must say.

Back on point though, the movie started off kind of seeming just like another movie about college age guys going across seas to get hammered. Movie really didn’t start getting good until Peter met Katia and the decided to go back to Katia deceased grandparents house. At the point in the film it finally seemed to get interesting. After Peter disappeared into a back bedroom with Katia and she decided to get a little overly aggressive that’s when we realize she may not just be another drunken club chick after all.

Katia is more into getting revenge then sex, will Peter, Tonio and his date for the night make it out of the grandparents house? You’ll have to watch to find out.
