Movie Review:
Right out of the gate there are two things I really enjoyed about this movie, the concept of it was pretty original or at least it is to the amount of Bigfoot movies I have seen. Secondly it didn’t leave you guessing come the end of the movie.
I know there are a lot of people out there that dislike found footage films, but they are one of my favorites, all the way back to the beginning, which would be The Blair Witch Project. Funny enough these film makers are the ones behind this film also. I see they haven’t lost their magic when it comes to film making.
The film started out with a bunch of twenty-somethings driving to a remote cabins in the woods (this part isn’t that original) and they hit something along the way. Thinking it was just a random animal (deer, bear etc etc) they pressed on to the cabin. After hearing and seeing things in the woods, they decided to bail and head back to their Jeep and go back to the city. Not until they see their Jeep left in ruins they realize they hit something more the a deer. Will the 5 friends make it out of the woods? Will any of them? I would suggest watching Exists, it’s worth your time. So if you have Showtime streaming service, watch it. If not buy the DVD.
